The affordable and highly effective 36 inch Zoo Med ReptiSun T5-HO Terrarium Hood is specially designed for use in sensitive reptile terrariums. Its sleek, barely-there profile makes it an attractive and non-obtrusive addition to your custom reptile enclosure, allowing the focus to remain on the exotic and visually stunning inhabitants of your tank. The ReptiSun Hood features an energy-efficient T5-HO electronic ballast to guarantee rapid starts and maximum lamp performance, providing exceptional UVB, UVA, and visible light for your reptilian friends. Additionally, a highly polished curved reflector is incorporated to significantly boost light and UVA/UVB output. The high output T5's are perfect for larger and taller enclosures to ensure essential UVB penetration at greater depths. For convenient manual control, an on/off rocker switch is mounted on the rear of the hood. Alternatively, the ReptiSun T5-HO Terrarium Hood can be used with a light timer of your choice (sold separately).

The Zoo Med 36" ReptiSun T5-HO Terrarium Hood includes a ReptiSun 34" (39 W) 5.0 lamp, but can also be used with 10.0 T5-HO lamps, depending on the reptile species. Please Note: All bulbs are removed from the original fixture packaging and shipped separately to ensure intact arrival.
